AceHealthcare Group announces closure of it's Nurse Agency division, effective 17th April, 2011.

With greater emphasis being placed upon Healthcare Training & Regulation Compliance being enforced throughout Scotland’s vast Health & Social Care Sectors – we have grown significantly within our Training and Consultancy divisions over recent years, as Agency requirement has seen an equivalent decline. Now is the opportune time for Ace to continue to expand and further develop these vital services.
While we look forward to enjoying the renewed freedom from our longstanding 24/7 commitment, you can be assured that AceHealthcare Group will continue to support other Service Providers in achieving higher standards in Health & Social Care service provision throughout Scotland.
We can all be proud of the fact that Ace Agency terminates service provision on a high, through having achieved outstanding Care Commission Grading of 5’s across the board with Excellent (Grade 6) being stated consistently throughout our last Inspection Report. Well done everyone. Just a pity they didn’t apply the Grade 6 that the report clearly reflects !
We would like to thank all of our Agency staff for their dedication to maintaining the highest standards of service provision on behalf of Ace over the past 12 ½ years and wish you every success in your future career.

AceHealthcare Group - A privately owned, family run company, founded by Lorna E. Leavitt, RSCN. RGN. in July 1998.

'Lorna gained Registration as a Sick Childrens Nurse in 1977 having trained at Glasgow's Yorkhill Hospital. Upon completion of further Training as a General Nurse at Glasgow's Royal Infirmary she went on to specialize in Theatre Nursing and Acute care.
Over the past 30 years Lorna has worked in a variety of healthcare settings, holding senior Nursing and Management positions within major NHS, Private and International Hospitals. During the early nineties her outstanding organizational skills were put to full use arranging Major International Nursing Symposia and Education Seminars. Latterly working as a Nurse Educator for an International Medical Charity, training and supporting nurses and paramedical personnel in numerous Third World Countries.
Passionate about personal and professional development - Lorna utilises her vast experience of varied Nursing & Care settings and diverse Healthcare systems to bring a new dimension to Healthcare Training & Regulation Compliance Consultancy Services.'
